How it all started...
Clint was going through another skin flare up... His face red, itchy, sensitive. His self confidence gone. Unfortunately this had become a regular occurrence for him.
But this time, instead of making his skin worse with the countless remedies he tried before, he decided to sneak into Shefali's skincare collection. A treasure chest of holistic Indian remedies...
He stumbled upon a skin cream that would change his life forever...
The Discovery of Ayurvedic Skincare...
It smelled like a field of lavender.. it looked creamy and supple.
"There must be some fragrance or toxic preservatives in here... let me read the ingredients," said Clint.
Plants, flowers, extracts, some ingredients recognizable, others he had never heard of... but to his amazement, NO Chemicals!
On the front of the container it said a strange word he never heard of before, "AYURVEDA".
Confidence restored...
With hope and excitement he applied the cream to his inflamed cheeks...
Cooling.. calming.. soothing...
Within minutes his skin went from beet red to natural pink, the rough irritation became smooth.
He immediately found Shefali and exclaimed, "How could you have kept this from me.. what is this Ah-you-veh-da?"
"Its pronounced ai·yr·vay·duh", She said laughingly, "Everybody knows what that is... don't they?"
This was the moment that led to Auraveda.
